Announcement has been made of the engagement of Rachel L. Gast and Sean E. Snoddy.
A June wedding is being planned.
Gast is the daughter of Peggy and Frederick Gast, Watsontown. She graduated from Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in animal sciences with a minor in equine science from Penn State University in 2005. She is employed by AgChoice Farm Credit, Mechanicsburg.

Snoddy is the son of Sue and Terry Snoddy, Allenwood. He graduated from Warrior Run High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in technology education from Millersville University in 2006. He is pursuing a master's degree at Lock Haven University. He is employed by Line Mountain School District as a teacher and also works on his family's dairy farm.
