Announcement has been made of the engagement of Larissa Sue Benscoter, Watsontown, and Corey Daniel Martin, Allenwood, stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
A May 12 wedding at Historic Warrior Run Church, Turbotville, is being planned.
Benscoter is the daughter of Dave Benscoter, Watsontown, and Penny Benscoter, Muncy. She graduated from Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 2009 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Lycoming College. She is employed by Lycoming College as a student trainer and basketball manager and also by Community Service Group as a direct support specialist.

Martin is the son of Mary Jo and Emory Martin, Allenwood. He graduated from Warrior Run High School in 2007 and is a sergeant in the Marine Corps. He served for seven months in Afghanistan.
