Announcement has been made of the engagement of Leanna M. Powell, Muncy, and Alexander N. Meng, Lewisburg.
A May 26 wedding at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is being planned.
Powell is the daughter of Patricia A. Shipman, Muncy. She graduated from Muncy High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Penn State University, State College, in 2007.

Meng is the son of Rebecca and Max Meng, Lewisburg. He graduated from Lewisburg High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, in 2011.
