Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kathryn Updegraff and Kevin McMahon Krejci, both of New Orleans.
A September wedding in New Orleans is being planned.
Updegraff is the daughter of Roberta and Mark Updegraff, Linden. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2004. She received a bachelor's degree in crafts with concentration in fine metals from Kutztown University and attended Messiah College, Grantham. She is employed by Thomas Mann Design, New Orleans, as a studio manager and jeweler. She served as a volunteer in mission in Nepal and Honduras.

McMahon is the son of Stephen McMahon Krejci and Dr. Janet Mary Wessel Krejci, Normal, Ill. He graduated from Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, Wisc., in 1998 and received bachelor's degrees in computer science and philosophy with a minor in theology from Marquette University. He also attended graduate school at the University of Washington to pursue a degree in construction management. He is employed by Project Homecoming, New Orleans, as a director.
