Julie Nevel in concert

BLANCHARD - The Blanchard Church of Christ, 161 Beach St., will present Julie Nevel in concert at 7 p.m. The concert is free of charge, and a love offering will be received to benefit the music ministry of Nevel. The concert will highlight many songs from Julie's new CD of 11 original songs titled Hope for Your Heart. For more information, call the church at 962-2423.

Joseph Wise ministers

The Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, 2898 Heshbon Road, will host Joseph Wise, of Lewisburg, during its fifth Sunday event at 9 a.m.

Roast beef dinner

LOGANTION - Albright United Methodist Church, 47 E. Main St., will hold a family style roast beef dinner featuring mashed potatoes, noodles, corn and a variety of desserts from 4-6:30 p.m.. Cost is $8.50 for adults. Take-outs available.

Family thrift shop

Fairfield United Methodist Church, 833 Fairfield Church Road, will hold a family thrift shop featuring a new supply of spring and summer clothing and accessories from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday. All winter items are free.

Baked ham dinner

WATSONTOWN - Watsontown United Methodist Church, 1319 Eighth Street Drive, will hold a baked ham dinner at 4 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-12, and 4 and under are free. Takeouts available. Call 538-1017 for more information.

Jacobs Brothers in concert

MIFFLINBURG - Mifflinburg Alliance Church, 1.2 miles north of Route 45 off Forest Hill Road, will host the Jacobs Brothers at 7 p.m. Admission is free. A love offering will be taken.

Singles dance

Pine Street United Methodist Church Adult Singles Ministry will hold a dance for singles from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the church, 441 Pine St. No smoking or alcohol permitted. Casual dress, no denim or jeans. Cost is $7.50 at the door.

Free clothing exchange

Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 Howard St., will hold a free clothing exchange from 8-11 a.m. Park in lot across the street and use the alley entrance, elevator available. Clothes for all ages, if you have clean wearable clothes to donate please bring them. If not come and take what you need.
