Anna Christenberry Douthat and Emanuel Solomon Stockman, both of Los Angeles, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011.
The Rev. Dr. John F. Piper officiated at the ceremony held at Clarke Chapel, Lycoming College.
A reception was held at the Williamsport Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of James and Emily Douthat, both of Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in history from Princeton University, Princeton, N.J., in 2008. She is a law student at Villanova University.
Stockman is the son of Marvin Stockman and Barbara Gioulakis-Stockman, North Potomac, Md. He graduated from Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, Md., in 2000. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University, Durham, N.C., in 2004 and a doctorate in aerospace engineering from Princeton University in 2009. He is employed by Lockheed Martin, Cherry Hill, N.J., as a senior research scientist.
Maid of honor was Abigail Dwyes, Boston, Mass.
Bridesmaids were Katherine Lawrence, New York City; Kacie Weaver, Apalachian, N.Y.; Erica Makos, Thornton, Colo.; and Gayle Rudofsky, Bronx, N.Y.
Flower girl was Talia Rozenbaum, Queens, N.Y., cousin of the bridegroom.
Best men were David Stockman, Milwaukee, Wisc., brother of the bridegroom, and Theodore Mann, New York City.
Groomsmen were Taylor Hayden, Charlotte, N.C.; Dan Kaiser, Nashville, Tenn.; and Mark Douthat, Williamsport, brother of the bride.
Following a trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Philadelphia.
