9:15 a.m. Sunday: Religious News And Views: reporter this week is the Rev Gwen Bernstine, Executive Director of United Churches of Lycoming County, WRAK 1400 AM/WRKK 1200 AM.

Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday The Rev. Dr. Rob Manzinger, chairman of United Churches Social Concerns Committee and pastor of First Baptist Church in Williamsport, will be the speaker. He will discuss the new monthly column in the religion section of the newspaper, "Faith Matters." A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Sandy Grier. Grier is a member of Church of the Savior Lutheran in Williamsport.
