Free clothing exchange

Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 Howard St., will hold a free clothing exchange from 8-11 a.m. Park in lot across the street and use the alley entrance, elevator available. Clothes for all ages, if you have clean, wearable clothes to donate, please bring them. If not, come and take what you need.

SUNDAY

Canned soup donations needed

WOOLRICH - Woolrich Community United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., will recognize Super Bowl Sunday with the collection of canned soup for its Food for Faith program. Donations will be accepted during the morning service.

Teen Challenge ministering

MUNCY VALLEY - Teen Challenge, a drug and alcohol recovery program started in the slums of New York City, will minister during the 10:30 a.m. service at Rock Run Church, along Route 220, with music and personal testimonies of deliverance from addictions. Free 'Souper' Bowl of Caring

The youth of Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St., will hold a free "Souper" Bowl of Caring from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall featuring homemade chili or chicken soup. All free-will donations will be gifted to Sojourner Truth Ministries. Vote for your favorite football team; predict the winning score and win a prize.

Fellowship dinner

FARRAGUT - Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, along Route 864 near the intersection with Route 87, will host its monthly First Tuesday Fellowship Dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. Free-will donations are accepted.

Prayer Group meeting

JERSEY SHORE - The Prayer Group will meet at 11 a.m. in Phelps Chapel Church off Route 220-Pine Creek exit.

Roast pork dinner

All Saints Episcopal Church, 1656 Scott St., will hold a roast pork dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Takeouts available. For more information, call 236-0191.

Benefit spaghetti dinner

Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3200 Lycoming Creek Road, will hold a benefit spaghetti dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to support a person recently diagnosed with leukemia. Baked steak dinner

McELHATTAN - McElhattan United Methodist Church, McElhattan Drive, will host a baked steak dinner from 3-6 p.m. featuring baked steak, real mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cole slaw, dessert and beverage. Cost is $8.50 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Financial Peace University being offered

Light and Life Chapel, 1680 Four Mile Drive in Loyalsock Township, will hold a 13-week Financial Peace University. Classes start at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and continue through May 9. Bible study scheduled

JERSEY SHORE - Phelps Chapel Church, Pine Creek exit off Route 220, will hold a Bible study on the book of Esther. Thursday day classes will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. starting Feb. 16 and run through May 3. Monday evening classes will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. starting Feb. 20 and run through May 7.
