Nolan-Maurer

Davis Elizabeth Nolan and Edward John Maurer, both of Annapolis, Md. were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.

The Rev. Maurice Frontz officiated at the ceremony held at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, South Williamsport.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the James Restaurant and a reception was held at the Acacia Club.

The bride is the daughter of Sandy and Jim Nolan, South Williamsport. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 1999. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware, Newark, Del., in 2003 and a master's degree in science of nutrition from Meredith College, Raleigh, N.C., in 2005. She is employed by the Bay Ridge Healthcare Center, Annapolis, Md., as a registered dietitian.

Maurer is the son of MaryAnn Maurer, California, Md., and the late Elmo Maurer. He graduated from Great Mills High School, Great Mills, Md., in 1996 and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn., in 2001. He is employed by Booz Allen Hamilton, Lexington Park, Md., as a senior consultant.

Maid of honor was Nicole Kucharski, Denver, Colo.

Bridesmaids were Morgan Cook, Baltimore; Robyn Dincher, South Williamsport; Jillian Garman, South Williamsport; Kateri Linville, Elkton, Md.; and Jessica Schachter, New York City.

Best man was William Maurer, Salt Lake City, Utah, brother of the bridegroom.

Groomsmen were Steve Maurer, New Orleans, brother of the bridegroom; Jay Nolan, Philadelphia, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Michael McDevitt, Hollywood, Md.; Brad Hamilton, Springboro, Ohio; and Matthew Berry, Knoxville, Tenn.

Following a trip to the Greek Islands, the couple is residing in Annapolis.
