Announcement has been made of the engagement of Amelia Burget, Pittsburgh, and Jay Schultz, North Versailles.
An April wedding in Jennerstown is being planned.
Burget is the daughter of Marilyn and James Burget, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1998. She received a degree in French from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and a master's degree in international business from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, in 2008. She is employed by General Nutrition Centers (GNC), Pittsburgh, as an international project manager.

Schultz is the son of Florence and Duane Shultz, North Versailles. He graduated from East Allegheny High School, North Versailles, in 1998. He is employed by JPS Landscape, Irwin, as a construction foreman.
