BLACK FOREST - A man riding a snowmobile was seriously injured Sunday morning when the vehicle and a pickup truck collided on state forest land along Manor Fork Road, about a mile south of here, in Brown Township, Fire Chief Jerry Farley said.

It is believed the victim is in his 50s and was staying in a cabin in the area, Farley said. The man was loaded into an ambulance and then put on a helicopter that landed near the scene. The victim was flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

The state Bureau of Forestry was investigating the crash. The identities of those involved were not available Sunday night.
