A resident of the Timberland Apartments has been jailed on burglary and assault-related charges after she allegedly stormed into another woman's apartment and scratched her face with her fingernails.
"I'm going to beat your -- for messing with my man," Britney Marie Taylor, 22, of 610 Lycoming St., allegedly told Lashanda Bullock after entering the woman's apartment through an unlocked door and grabbing her by the hair as she attempted to retreat to her kitchen about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The victim lives in the same development.
Taylor is accused of grabbing the woman by her hair and punching her in the face, according to court papers.
Taylor then "used her fingernails to scratch Bullock's face below her right eye," an officer wrote in an affidavit.
She was arraigned hours later before District Judge James H. Sortman on charges of burglary, simple assault and harassmen and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
