The Area Agency on Aging for the counties of Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Tioga is asking for public input as it prepares the next "Four Year Plan."
The public is invited to attend a community focus group meeting about the agency's Four Year Plan at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 at the W.M. Tokishi Training Center, 1873 Shumway Hill Road, Wellsboro.
The purpose of the meeting is to share the results of a community needs assessment survey, review program initiatives and gather additional feedback on local community needs.
The major objective of the Four Year Plan is to help the agency effectively plan to meet the goals set forth in the Older Americans Act.
A key part of the plan looks at what the needs of older individuals are and how the AAA can plan to use resources available to help address their needs.
Reservations are required to attend the meeting and may be made by calling 800-982-4346.
