Evelyn "Evie" Eisner joined Albright LIFE, 901 Memorial Ave., in October 2010.
Born May 18, 1924, in Bodines, Eisner attended school in nearby Calvert until ninth grade when she was needed at home to take care of her two little sisters, cook and do housework because her mother was ill and had to have surgery.
Eisner married Leroy in 1948 and they shared 25 good years together before his passing.
They had three children and Eisner now has seven grandchildren under the age of 38, plus at least one great-grandchild. Eisner always kept busy caring for her children and working as a maid-housekeeper, and now keeps busy at the LIFE program. Eisner enjoys bingo and participating in the Albright LIFE Singers and Ringers voice and bell choir.
