Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday, The Rev. Bob Hickox, new executive director of the Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity, will talk about putting our "Faith In Action." A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Pastors Jim and Kathy Behrens. Kathy is a member of the pastoral team of the Loyalsock-Wallis Run United Methodist parish and James is the pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church.
