Recently five senior citizens were driving the speed limit on Route 220 when they were stopped by the state police 'for a burned out license plate light."
They were asked for ID and where they had been and where they were going. Guess what? The license plate bulb was not burned out.
I don't know which disturbs me more: That the state police are liars or that they think they have to right to strip privacy from people.
Last I heard, you can't stop people and question them without reasonable suspicion. Or was there an escape from a senior living center?
