Ecumenical luncheon
United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday Susan Duchman, vice president of operations and chief nursing officer at Susquehanna Health, will be the speaker. She will discuss the new Tower of Hope that soon will open at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
Devotion line
The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Dorothy Wagner, a member of Mill Creek United Methodist Church in Montoursville.
