TODAY

Baked steak supper

DuBoistown United Methodist Church, 133 Summer St., will hold a baked steak supper from 4-6:30 p.m. Meal includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, roll and dessert. Cost is $8.50 for adults, $4.50 for children 3-10 and free for those under 3. Takeouts available.

SUNDAY

Chicken and biscuit dinner

Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner starting at 11:30 a.m. to support its outreach ministries. Creamed chicken and biscuits, corn, fruit cocktail or coleslaw, cookies and assorted beverages will be served. Takeouts are available. Cost is $8 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under.

Visitation pastor

The Rev. Conrad Gibson, of Bethlehem Baptist Church in York, is the visitation minister at Shiloh Baptist Church, 433 Walnut St. Sunday morning worship is 11 a.m. with Bible study and prayer meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

MONDAY

Labyrinth open to public

The Labyrinth at Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., is open to the public to walk during Lent. Normal hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-noon and Sundays from 8 a.m.-noon. The Labyrinth also is available to reserve for a retreat. TUESDAY

Fellowship dinner

The Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, along Route 864 near the intersection with Route 87, will hold its monthly first Tuesday fellowship dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. Free-will donations are accepted.

WEDNESDAY

Save Mater Dolorosa Rosary Rally

A Rosary Rally will be held at 5:30 p.m. in front of Mater Dolorosa Church, 635 Hepburn St., to save Mater Dolorosa Church from closing.

FRIDAY

Soup sale

JERSEY SHORE - Trinity Episcopal Church, 176 Mt Pleasant Ave., is holding its annual soup sale at the parish hall from 3-5 p.m. Ham and bean, turkey noodle and tomato soups will be available at $5 per quart. Orders can be placed by calling 398-4007 and leave a message. Also, orders can be placed with any church member.

MARCH 10

Pancake breakfast

WATSONTOWN - A pancake breakfast is scheduled at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, from 7-11 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit salad and beverage. Cost is donation. Proceeds will benefit youth attending 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans.

Roast beef dinner

TURBOTVILLE - Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10275 Route 44, will hold a roast beef dinner from 4-6 p.m. featuring roast beef, filling, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, fruit salad and a cookie. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children age 4-8. Call 649-5822 for more information.

Hymn sing

Buchanan Baptist Church, 3240 Grimesville Road, will be hold an old fashioned hymn sing at 7 p.m. Steve Myers will lead the singing, Marty Paulhamus will be the pianist.
