Preschool story time to be held at library
McEWENSVILLE -
The Montgomery House Warrior Run Area Public Library, 20 Church St., will hold a preschool story time at 11 a.m. Friday.
The program provides children newborn to 6 years old with early childhood literacy activities. The weekly themes are structured with stories, songs and crafts to help prepare children for kindergarten.

Second Annual Widows Banquet
MIFFLINBURG - The second Widows Banquet will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 24 at the Carriage Corner Restaurant.
The banquet is sponsored by the Mifflinburg Alliance Church and others in the community and will include a free meal, gifts, door prizes, music and a message of encouragement by Nancy Rictor of Westminster, Md. Reservations are requested and should be made by Friday.
