I feel sorry for Liberals and try to avoid them so as to not catch their disease. They tend to give up their own liberties much too easily and too often. That by itself is bad enough, but they want to give my liberty away also.
Their desire to do this is a symptom of a terrible illness. Liberals are ferociously driven by a social issue fever, and they disguise themselves as social referees while actually striving to be social engineers. I think it's difficult for liberals to fight for some of their ideals and still believe in God.
A big part of the disease syndrome is their belief that government should manipulate the god given rights of man. The disease can cause liberals to stink. I accidentally found myself within twenty feet of liberal icon Michael Moore once, his clothes were dirty and the fog he emitted smelled like a rotting animal carcass.
Liberals have unusual priorities. They accept human abortions for "convenience", but won't allow drilling for oil in ANWR because it might cause a caribou to adjust its migration route. Personally, I believe we should eat caribouthey're delicious. Caribou aren't very smart and they don't live long in the wild anyway. Any self respecting liberal should be at odds with these animals since their body heat contributes to global warming and they definitely destroy oxygen producing vegetation.
For these reasons, liberals should adopt the cause to eat caribou to help save Mother Earth. The difficulty with this thought would be in convincing a liberal that caribou can't talk and they don't know we're humans. Liberals fervently believe all private corporations and banks are evil and out to cheat them.
To fight this evil, the liberal super- hero doers of no good wish to raise corporate taxes and bank fees. These thought leaders truly believe people won't realize these fines will be passed through, and back to the consumer. Liberals insist on turning moral issues into political wars, an indication that they aren't all that moral.
Liberalism is based on illogical, unproven and quantifiably indefensible theories. If a debate with a liberal breaks out they don't defend their own ideals, they simply attack someone else's. Liberals love to invent big problems in order to present a bigger government solution, which provides sustenance for the beloved bureaucracy.
It has to be thrilling to be a liberal in this era. Liberals, being the self appointed intellectuals they are, must love getting to watch a high ranking blithering maroon who goes out of his way to gain public acceptance of $5.00 a gallon gas as being good for the economy because it really should be $10.00 a gallon. This revolutionary high brow rationale excites them so much it makes the hair stand up on their necks. So where do liberals actually come from? Today any kid whose family can't compete with the indoctrinating, socialistic anti- American public school system for his or her attention is a potential victim. When the family loses the battle, the kid ends up in the "earth and animals are more important than people" crowd. Spotting a liberal was more straightforward in my generation.
Back then, liberals were the ones on the playground who wanted to play hopscotch instead of dodge ball. Occasionally, they would join the dodge ball game but they usually hid behind the other kids, not to avoid getting hit, but to avoid having to throw the ball and become engaged in battle. In high school they were likely the people who joined some type of cause driven social club, or the hippie types who thought they were enlightened and everyone else was stupid.
Young liberals have always craved acceptance by the group and will do just about anything to avoid being labeled as a dimwit or non compassionate by other liberals. This makes them vulnerable to the disease. Most victims never realize that they've actually changed religions along the way, falling prey to one of the most heinous tricks ever perpetratedthe ideology where man made government becomes God.
Whatever reasoning skills they previously held disappear and they start to believe that their ability to think is self inflicted. They don't recognize the symptoms. They lose humility, along with respect for themselves and for other humans. They become sneaky and make things upthey lie to get what they want. Victims of liberalism become soft and self indulgent. They want to be taken care ofthey give up their aspirations. They become disoriented TV people who believe what comes out of Hollywood is an accurate depiction of real life. Everybody that gets an "Oscar" is a Liberal.
Liberals never make good leaders because their cause is always wrong. They are dividers, not consolidators. This campaign year, opposition to liberals could be summed up with a slogan such as "it's the Democrats stupid". This president got elected by using the Democrats, so straight line logic would dictate that the current and continuous weakening of our nation was caused by liberal Democrats putting him in office. Pitifully, many liberals hated George W. Bush and they use this hatred to somehow rationalize that the damage the current POTUS is doing to this country is acceptable.
Liberals believe this president has accomplished a great deal. He may have, but it's all been wrong, unless of course you are a liberal with a pacemaker that has a story about how you can hook yourself up to a solar panel to recharge. In the end, I see today's Democrats and Liberals as interchangeable simply because it's the Democrats who keep electing the Liberals.
Old time rank and file Democrats should realize that their own party sees them as human tools, to be used and then ultimately thrown away..sometime soon. Smart Democrats? I haven't seen any lately.
