Courtney Bauder recorded an RBI?single in the top of the eighth inning to give Mansfield's women's softball team a 5-4 win in eight innings against Chowan at the West Wirginia Wesleyan Tournament on Sunday in Virginia. Emily Crandel pitched three innings of relief for the Mountaineers and picked up the win. Erin Carroll homered for Mansfield and Kaitlin Kramer had a double, triple and an RBI.
Lycoming's women's lacrosse team scored nine of the game's final 11 goals to pick up an 11-10 win over Westfield State. Brooke Strausser scored six goals for the Warriors and Alysha Conley and Casey Maguire added a pair of goals each for Lycoming.
