Local community members are hard at work planning the seventh annual Frolic with Fashions and Fondue fundraiser that will be held from 5 to 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at the Williamsport Country Club.
The annual gala, to benefit SUN Home Health and Hospice, will feature a fashion show with adult fashions from Colony Classics as well as children's fashions from local clothiers. Light refreshments will include assorted wraps, a chocolate fountain and an assorted cheese fondue buffet.
The event also will include raffle and door prizes, with a variety of items donated by local merchants. Each of the raffle prizes is valued at more than $100.
We encourage area businesses to get involved by helping to underwrite the event. Sponsorship includes tickets, on request, to the event with participation at various levels.
This event is open to the public and also will feature a variety of boutique artisans who will generously donate 15 percent of their proceeds from this evening to benefit SUN Home Health and Hospice. Vendors include Arbonne, LW Beads, Bea's Sweet Treats, Lia Sophia, Lily Pad, Brian Mariano Unique Jewelry, Miche, Patchwork Farm Alpacas, Premier Designs Jewelry, Tastefully Simple and Thirty-One.
There is a fee to attend the event and tables of eight, 10, or 12 are preferred, but not mandatory. Reservations are required. Any questions can be answered by calling 321-8688.
This fundraiser, which celebrates the important work of SUN Home Health and Hospice, provides vital resources for the organization to continue its mission to help many local residents in their time of need. Proceeds from this event benefit the organization's uncompensated care program; assuring all individuals appropriate for homecare receive those services without regard for their payer source or their lack of a payer source.
