Dorothy M. Busler, 85, of Williamsport, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, in Muncy Valley Hospital.
She was born Jan. 2, 1927, in Williamsport, the daughter of Albert E. and Ethel E. (Koons) Wease.
Dorothy was the wife of the late John E. Busler Sr., with whom she shared 37 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1983.
She was a 1944 graduate of Williamsport High School.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, reading, watching the L.A. Lakers and N.Y. Mets on TV.
She was a volunteer at Divine Providence Hospital.
Dorothy is survived by a son, John E. (Stephanie) Busler Jr. of West Harrison, Ind.; a daughter, Barbara L. (Kenneth) Machmer of Canton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph A. Wease of Montoursville.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, there will be no public services.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Unit, 215 E. Water St., Muncy, PA 17756.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
