Concert scheduled

LAIRDSVILLE - John Robles will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. at Lairdsville Faith Church, 6786 Route 118. Call Pastor Max L. Walters Jr. for more information at 584-2765.

APRIL 12

Prayer group meets

Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, off Route 220 exit, will host the prayer group at 11 a.m.

APRIL 13, 15, 18

Missionary to speak

Sherrill Fausey, a missionary at the Christian Light School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, will share her ministry during an upcoming visit to the area. At 11 a.m. on April 13 she will be interviewed on The Matter at Hand on Christian radio station WGRC; on April 15 she will speak at Fairlawn Community Church, 353 Pleasant Hill Road in Cogan Station during the 10 a.m. worship service and after an 11:30 a.m. lunch; at 1 p.m. on April 18 she will speak to the Tivoli Christian Ladies Group at the Tivoli United Methodist Church, 9598 Route 220, Hughesville.

APRIL 14

Fisherman's breakfast

QUIGGLEVILLE - Quiggleville Community Hall, along Route 973 west of Cogan Station, will hold a fisherman's breakfast from 6-10 a.m. featuring eggs, pancakes, sausages, home fries, juice and coffee. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will match the proceeds.

Free community breakfast

RAUCHTOWN - St. James Lutheran Church, Route 880 and Middle Road, will hold a free community breakfast from 8-10 a.m.

Soup sale scheduled

TIVOLI - Tivoli United Methodist Church, three miles north of Picture Rocks along Route 220, will hold a soup sale beginning at 9 a.m. Soup kettles will be fired up outside and used to make ham and bean, chicken corn and vegetable beef soups, which will be sold by the quart or by the bowl. A lunch will be served and baked goods will be for sale. The cost is $4 per quart.

Rummage, bake sale

Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., will hold a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Benefit auction

Citychurch Ministries, 36 E. Fourth St., Williamsport will hold an indoor benefit auction. Doors will open at 1:33 p.m. with the silent auction starting immediately and the live auction beginning at 3:33 p.m. Those who would like to make a tax-deductible donation of an item to be auctioned off should call Tom Marquette at 916-6903.

Spaghetti and meatball dinner

McELHATTAN - McElhattan United Methodist Church, McElhattan Drive, will hold a spaghetti and meatball dinner from 3-6 p.m. featuring spaghetti and meatballs, homemade bread, salad bar, dessert and drink. Cost is by donation. All servicemen and servicewomen from Iraq and Afghanistan wars eat free. Takeouts available. Bake room open.
