The Great Vigil of Easter will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the main church. The Great Vigil is the first service of Easter Day. It is celebrated between sunset on Holy Saturday and sunrise on Easter Morning. The service normally consists of four parts: The Service of Light, The Service of Lessons, Renewal of Baptismal Vows, and The Holy Eucharist.
A celebration of the Resurrection and Holy Communion will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. in the main church on April 8, Easter Sunday. There will be an Easter egg hunt for the children after the second service.

Orthodox Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter) this year on April 15, so, tomorrow, April 8, marks the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, Palm Sunday, and the beginning of Holy Week. Holy Cross Orthodox Church will have a Palm Sunday Liturgy at 10 a.m. to include a childrens' procession and the blessing and distribution of palms and pussy willows.
