Mr., Mrs. Edward Mull observe 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mull, Hughesville, observed their 50th wedding anniversary March 24, 2012.

They were married by the Rev. William Lose at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville.

Mrs. Mull, the former Regena Lee McConnell, is a native of Hughesville. She is the daughter of the late Thelma and Edward McConnell. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 1961. She retired in 2005, after 29 years of service in the Williamsport Area School District, as an administrative assistant in the special education department.

MR., MRS. EDWARD MULL

Mr. Mull, a native of Montoursville, is the son of the late Goldie and George Mull. He attended school in the Montoursville Area School District and served in the National Guard. He retired in 1999, after 32 years of service, as an ironworker for Local No. 772, Clearfield.

They are the parents of three daughters, Kimberly Walker, Williamsport; Christina Caputo, Montoursville; and Cynthia Hamm, Muncy.

There are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In honor of their anniversary, the couple renewed their wedding vows at a ceremony March 31 at Faith United Methodist Church, surrounded by family and friends. A reception, hosted by their daughters, was held at the church after the ceremony.
