Stanley Franklin Benscoter Jr. passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the age of 89. He was born in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, Pa., Aug. 22, 1922, son of Laura Mae Ravert and Stanley (a.k.a. Luther) Benscoter. He is the widower of Marie Luella Barto of Penn Township, Lycoming County, Pa.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, where the funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Douglas J. Seagle of St. John's United Church of Christ, New Columbia, officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
