Ask first

April 17, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

It's campaign time again and the political signs are going up all over. If you're campaigning for your favorite person, could you at least have the courtesy to ask the property owner before placing a sign in their yard or business landscape. Also, the area between the sidewalk and curb is not a right of way for you to just stick your sign in. Please don't just remove a sign from someone else's yard and place your candidate's there. And lastly, it's your property, if someone places a sign there and they didn't ask, that is trespassing. Remove it and throw it in the garbage.
