T.P.A to holdnext meeting
HUNTERSVILLE - Post W. Williamsport, Travelers Protective Association of America, will hold its monthly dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Allegheny Grange No. 1843, Route 864.
Dinner will be served followed by the meeting.
The meeting will include installation of officers.
All members are requested to attend so they can meet their new officers.
Garden Club to meet Thursday
MUNCY - The Muncy Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. James Parish Hall, 215 S. Main St.
The topic will be the planning for the Memorial Day plantings in Muncy and also the upcoming May Tea Party.
Thelma George and Elaine Leaver will hostthe meeting and provide refreshments and devotions.
Anyone interested in joining the Muncy Garden Club is encouraged to attend.
JVB Library to hold book sale this week
The Friends of the James V. Brown Library will hold its annual spring book sale Thursday through Saturday at the Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St.
The sale includes used books donated by the general public, as well as books that are culled from the library shelves due to duplication and lagging circulation.
There is a separate room dedicated to children's books and media.
Local roller derby league plans event
MONTGOMERY - The Susquehanna Valley Derby Vixens roller derby league will hold a spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser from 3 to 8 p.m. April 28 at the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Co. hall, 2311 Route 54.
Dinner will be served from 4 to 6 p.m.
The event will feature many silent auction items including PartyLite candles, Premier Designs Jewelry, gift certificates, Bulova desk set, photography session, raffle baskets and more.
Live entertainment will be provided by Ten Cent Days, Ron Fleeger and Antares J. Barr.

Relay For Life team plans walk
JERSEY SHORE - The Be Fit and Fabulous Relay For Life team will hold a fundraising walk and picnic at 11 a.m. Friday in the borough.

Relay team to host Elvis tribute
WELLSBORO - The Keystone Kops Relay For Life team will hold an Elvis tribute show at 7 p.m. Friday at Wellsboro Area High School.
The show will feature Brad Crum, Elvis impersonator, and will benefit the Relay For Life of Wellsboro.
