Elk Country Visitor Center, Benezette

April 22 - Earth Day! Join us as we celebrate Earth Day with many exciting, hands-on events 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

April 28 - Lyme Disease: An Introduction to Symptoms, Treatment and the Various Species of Ticks, 1-2:30 p.m., Discovery Room, Speaker is Zachary McCloskey, DCNR environmental education specialist.

Hills Creek State Park, Wellsboro

Saturdays in April and May - Birding walks, 8-10 a.m., park office. Tiadaghton Audubon Society members will lead walks. Bring binoculars and wear subdued clothing and sturdy shoes. If weather is inclement, the group may opt for a driving tour.

April 28 - Step Out & Volunteer, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Help with a variety of projects from trail maintenance to wildlife habitat. Free camping for those who register.

Ricketts Glen State Park, Red Rock

April 24 - Spring Surprises, 10:30 a.m.-noon, north parking lot off of Route 118. Includes a hike on a portion of the lower Falls Trail. Bring a lunch. In case of rain, the program will be rescheduled.

April 25 - KAZ Move It Outdoors Hike, 6-7 p.m., Lake Rose parking lot pavilion. Take a geological discovery hike on Highland Trail. Scavenger hunt included.

Sinnemahoning State Park, Cameron County

April 22 - Natural Cleaners, 1-3 p.m., Wildlife Center along Park Road near the Cameron-Potter county line. Learn to make natural cleaning products for a fraction of the cost of traditional ones. Materials and containers will be provided.

April 28 - Wild About Photography: Basics, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Indoor and outdoor program. Bring lunch.
