Mr. and Mrs. Dean Spring, Muncy, observed their 60th wedding anniversary April 5, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Adam Bingaman at Messiah Lutheran Church, Clarkstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Spring, the former Frances Dugan, is a native of Muncy. She is the daughter of the late Laura and Harry Dugan. She graduated from Muncy Area High School in 1943 and from East Stroudsburg University in 1947. She retired in 1977 from East Lycoming Junior High School, Hughesville, as a teacher.

Mr. Spring, a native of Pine Summit, is the son of the late Aileen and George Spring. He graduated from Muncy Area High School in 1950. He retired in 1990 from GTE Sylvania, Montoursville, and in 2005 from M&T Bank, Buffalo, N.Y.
They are the parents of three sons, Rodney, Muncy, and the late Thomas and Gregory Spring.
There are three grandchildren.
