Melissa Brown says, regarding the new voter ID act, "Who would benefit from such a scenario? Republicans, naturally." And she's right, of course. Almost invariably, it is Democrats who are caught voting often, and voting for dead people. I agree that the new voter ID rules seem a bit much, and that voter irregularities are not common in central Pennsylvania; but they are almost routine in large cities. Think Chicago, and wonder about Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
