JERSEY SHORE - A Clinton County man has been arrested on charges of allegedly forcing his way into the home of his former girlfriend and stealing her cellphone as she was attempting to call police, according to the state police.

Alfred Lincoln Rishel, 37, of 2673 Rauchtown Road, Crawford Township, went to Lacey Ann Fuller and Nathan Laubach's home at 105 Smith Court, Piatt Township, kicked in the front door and grabbed Fuller's cellphone from her hand before fleeing the scene about 11 p.m. on April 6, police allege.

An estimated $1,070 damage was done during the break-in, police said.

Following his arraignment on April 14 before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman on charges of burglary, felony trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, stalking, criminal mischief and harassment, Rishel was released on $25,000 bail.
