Ina S. Schucker, 86, of Troy, Pa., died on Monday, April 30, 2012, in Bradford County Manor, Troy, Pa. Born on April 15, 1926, in Springfield Township, Pa., she was the daughter of Charles and Edith (Parmenter) Simcoe. Ina is survived by her husband, Robert E. Schucker.
Prior to her retirement, Ina was the owner and operator of the Ina Schucker Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Troy Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Ina enjoyed working in her beauty shop.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Ina is also survived by a daughter, Tricia Schucker of Troy, Pa.; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Marlene Simcoe of Troy, Pa.; one sister, Lucille Baxter of Troy, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Liz and Ian Schumacher. She was predeceased by a brother, Faye Simcoe, and two sisters, Virginia Inman and Mary Esther Van Horn.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery in Troy, Pa. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon following the service at 12:30 p.m. at the family residence, 2618 Sylvania Road, Troy, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in Ina's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., Seventh Floor, New York, NY 10001.
