MANSFIELD - Jassen E. Bower, 31, of 1934 West Fourth St., Williamsport, was charged by state police with forgery and theft after he allegedly took and cashed another man's check.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, Bower took a check from Jonathan P. Parthemer, and then forged Parthemer's name when he cashed it for $200 at First Citizen's National Bank, Blossburg, overdrawing Parthemer's account.
