HUGHESVILLE - The East Lycoming School District is dismissing all students at 10:30 a.m. today after receiving a threat.
"We decided to err on the side of caution," Superintendent Michael D. Pawlik said, shortly before the dismissal. "We're putting safety absolutely first."
The investigation of the threat will continue for the rest of the day, he said, declining to release further details until later in the day.
Parents were advised of a traditional dismissal procedure.
