Victorian tea party
Katy's Church, intersection of Katy's Church and Wolf Hollow roads in Columbia County, will hold its first Victorian tea party from 2-5 p.m. Traditional sandwiches, desserts and tea will be served. Reservations are requested by calling 764-2412. Tickets are $10 with proceeds benefiting the continued renovation of the 143-year-old church. Guests are invited to wear Victorian attire.

Re-Creation to perform
Re-Creation will perform in concert at South Williamsport United Methodist Church, 409 Main St., at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be received.
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 100 Walnut St. in Montoursville, will celebrate its annual May Crowning at 7 p.m. Participants will include the parish's 12th-grade senior theology class as well as its first communion class. Kayla Cillo, a senior at Montoursville Area High School, will place the crown at Mary's shrine.

New church begins
"Turning Point Ministries," a new ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy (cogop.org) will begin praise and worship services from 6-8 p.m. in the Colonial Room of the YWCA, 815 W. Fourth St.
Cross Fire, Youth Encounter's International Team Ministry Band, will present a free contemporary Christian concert at 6:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 S. Howard St. in South Williamsport. Afterward, a campfire-style worship service will be held at 7:45 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken. The band recently toured in Africa and is eager to share its experiences with our community.
JERSEY SHORE - The Prayer Group will meet at 11 a.m. at Phelps Chapel Church, off Pine Creek Exit of Route 220.
