May 4, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Lisa Ann Ritter, 39, of 1122 Cherry St., faces felony charges for allegedly forging four checks that were stolen from her mother-in-law, city police said.

Ritter forged the checks that were cashed at local banks between Feb. 15 and April 1, police allege.

The checks totaled $3,975.

Following her arraignment Wednesday before District Judge Allen P. Page III on four counts of forgery, Ritter was released on $10,000 bail.

The victim was Dorothy Ritter, who lives next to her daughter-in-law, police said.
