Kathryn D. Marquardt, 87, formerly of Ritchey St., passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Williamsport Home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Williamsport, the daughter of McCormick and Mary Anna (Emerick) Dawson.
Kathryn was the wife of the late Norman Marquardt.
She attended the St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Kathryn was a nun out of the order of Sisters of Christian Charity for many years.
She had three loves, the love for music, art and her cats, especially for her cat Misty.
Kathryn played the French horn with the New Horizon Band of Williamsport.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and two stepsons.
Kathryn was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Wilkinson and Elizabeth Kiessling.
A Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the St. Boniface Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, with Msgr. Stephen D. McGough celebrant.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
