Some religions assert that man is born evil, as in the concept of original sin.
Progressive ideology asserts that man is inherently evil.
The truth is man has a choice between being good or evil and must continually make decisions that determine whether his actions are good or evil.
Human nature dictates that some will choose good, and some will choose evil. A proper society should reward good choices and punish evil choices.
