It is good that cameras are placed in playgrounds for the safety of our children but what about our citizens who use the walk signs? Some of the drivers cannot pay any attention to the walk sign or they just look for cars, forgetting that people walk and need to feel safe but not here at Fourth and Campbell which is a heavily traveled intersection.
The crosswalk is ignored. I have been almost hit a few times and it is scary. Also, at that four-way cross only one way has enough time to get across, the other three have enough time to get a little over half way. I have asked to have it checked but nothing has been done yet.
