Historical society to host annual dinner
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Historical Society will host its annual dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday at Jersey Shore Area High School. There is a fee to attend.
Garden club to hold next meeting
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Garden Club will hold their next meeting at 7 p.m. May 17 at the United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St.
The program will be presented by Christine Fink, of the American Institute of Floral Designers.
Christian women's club to hold brunch
The Christian Women's Club of Williamsport will hold the "April Showers Bring May Flowers" brunch at 9:30 a.m. May 24 at Community Baptist Church, 1853 Route 87 North, Montoursville.
The brunch will feature a horticulturist from Ettinger's Garden Center, and Rosa Marie Faulkner presenting "Tiaras, Trophies, Tantrums" and special music.

Benefit motorcycle ride set for May
The Friends of Paws Park and the Knight Crew Motorcycle Club will hold a benefit motorcycle ride on May 19.
All proceeds will be split between the off-leash dog park and the new South Williamsport K-9 Unit. Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lions Pavilion at the South Williamsport Community Park. There will be a blessing of the bikes and Chinese auction. There is a fee to register.
