PENNSDALE - Muncy Township supervisors discussed summer routine maintenance projects at Wednesday night's meeting.

The list of maintenance work to be done includes tar and chipping, replacing drainage pipes and base road repairs.

"Whether we can get it all done this year depends on how much money (is available)," Chairman Paul Wentzler said.

Bid openings will occur during next week's West Branch Council of Government's meeting.

Some of the work will be contracted out and some will be done by the township.

"Whatever is most cost effective," Wentzler said.

The maintenance work is about two years behind because of busy schedules and last year's rain and extreme heat.

"We have more to do than we can get done," he said.

Only smaller projects will have work done.

"We can't afford anything big," Wentzler said. "We have to protect what we got."
