Seniors plan next meeting
SALLADASBURG - The Salladasburg Chapter of Lycoming County Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Salladasburg United Methodist Church.
The meeting will be followed by refreshments and special music by a men's chorus.
Hostesses for the event will be Eileen Fisher, William Miller and Janice Cohick.
Society to sponsor ballroom dance
The Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society will sponsor a ballroom dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 19 at Divine Providence Auditorium.
Pre-recorded music provided for ballroom dancers of all levels will be provided.
Attire is semi-formal, meaning men should wear a jacket and tie and women should wear a dress or pant suit.
Half of the proceeds will be given to the Hospital Auxillary Cancer Center.
