Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jamie L. Karge and Patrick Loughman, both of Manchester.
An Oct. 7 wedding at the family farm in Dushore is being planned.
Karge is the daughter of Cathy and John Karge, Dushore. She graduated from Sullivan County High School, Laporte, in 2004 and received a master's degree in school counseling from Bloomsburg University in 2010. She is employed by York Catholic High School as a guidance counselor.

Loughman is the son of Nancy and Patrick Loughman, West Milford, N.J. He graduated from West Milford High School in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Bloomsburg University in 2009. He is employed by York County Sheriff's Department as a sheriff's deputy.
