WELLSBORO - Nineteen people were sentenced in Tioga County Court on Monday.
According to court documents, two men were sentenced to state prison. They are:
Anthony L. Hepler, 28, of 20 Bacon Street, five to 10 years, $608 restitution, credit for 190 days already served for burglary, and a concurrent one to two years in state prison for theft. He was charged by state police after he burglarized seasonal homes between last Oct. 12 and 26 on Wildcat Lane and Norrisbrook Road in Chatham Township.
In a second sentencing, Hepler received a concurrent six to 12 months, 146 days time-served credit for theft. He was charged by Mansfield police after he wrote a bad check for $40 to Sara Jo's Stop and Go on July 3.
Ryan West, 19, of 142 Scouten Hill Road, one to three years for receiving stolen property and 24 months' probation for theft. He was charged by state police after he took a checkbook from his grandmother on Newtown Hill Road, Richmond Township, Oct. 31, 2010. According to police, he had his girlfriend forge her signature on a check and cashed it for $180.
In a second sentencing, West received one to three years for receiving stolen property concurrent with his previous sentence, and must pay $120 restitution to Ronald Niles. He was charged by Wellsboro police after he forced entry into 86 Fellows Ave. and took several guns, which were recovered Aug. 6.
Sentenced to Tioga County Prison were:
John D. Minnier, 19, of 17 Yanney Road, Dushore, three to 23 months for theft with credit for time served and $537 restitution to Cody Chacklos. He was charged by university police after he took a wallet from Chacklos at Cedarcrest Manor, using his bank card to pay his $537 phone bill without his permission Nov. 1.
In a second sentencing, Minnier was sentenced to a concurrent one to 12 months for theft with credit for time served and $297 restitution. He was charged by state police after he took a credit card from Abby Heck at 1128 Haverly Hill Road, Covington Township, and used it to pay his cellphone bill without her permission Aug. 17.
Jimmy B. Dake, 24, no address listed, 24 months intermediate punishment with three months in jail for receiving stolen property, probation and $150 restitution to Mark and Wendy Barren. He was charged by borough police after he took drugs and jewelry from the couple's residence on Cortland Street while they were at work Oct. 27.
William M. Siebel, 48, of 1686 Route 549, Mansfield, six months intermediate punishment with three months in prison, the last 30 days on electronic monitoring, then probation, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, his second in 10 years, fifth in his lifetime, $750 fine. He was charged by state police on following a traffic stop on Route 15, Richmond Township May 29.
Kevin Kinner, 65, of 20 Williams St., Sayre, six months intermediate punishment with 72 hours in jail, probation and a $1,000 fine for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was charged by Lawrence Township Police after he crashed his car on Route 328 on Dec. 17, 2010.
Bryan M. Hondros, 25, of 72 College Ave., Mansfield, six months intermediate punishment with 72 hours in jail, probation, a $1,000 fine and $9,136 restitution for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was charged by Mansfield police following an accident in the South Main Street parking lot of First Citizens National Bank July 10.
Sentenced to probation were:
Enrique A. Rivera, 35, of 35 West Ave., 24 months probation for simple assault and$200 fine. Charged by Wellsboro police after a fight at 35 West Ave. Nov. 14.
Doug S. Farrington, 38, of 8C Riberolle St., 12 months probation for criminal mischief and $1,205 restitution. Charged by Wellsboro police after he caused damage to three businesses and removed property from a vehicle on Dec. 10.
Nathan J. Sherman, 23, of Main Street, Knoxville, 12 months for criminal trespass and $100 fine. Charged by Osceola Township police after he went into a garage belonging to Bryan Heysham on Mutton Hill Road, Osceola, ransacked it and took coins from a safe Sept. 28.
Beck L. Lewis, 31, of 201 McCutcheon Road, Harrison Valley, 12 months probation for making false reports and a $100 fine. Charged by Osceola Township police following a traffic stop on West Main Street during which he gave a false name and address last Sept. 12.
Caleb S. Rodrieguez, 21, of 411 School Drive, Tioga, 12 months for simple assault. Charged by state police following an argument with his ex-girlfriend and a subsequent fight and assault June 7.
Nicholas S. Cannata, 20, of Hampton Bays, N.Y., and Cedarcrest dormitory, Mansfield University, six months for disorderly conduct and $325 restitution. Charged by university police following a fight at the dormitory Dec. 4.
Curtis L. Bell, 59, of 239 Mt. Zion Road, six months for simple assault and $100 restitution. Charged by Mansfield police following a fight in the street Oct. 4.
Sentenced to special probation for driving under the influence of intoxicants were:
Dustin S. Riehl, 21, of 130 Norris Brook Road, Middlebury Center, 12 months. Charged by borough police following a traffic stop on Queen Street March 3.
Michael B. Sims, 30, of Goshen, Ala., 12 months. Charged by state police following a traffic stop on Mitchell Creek Road, Tioga Township, Feb. 5.
Michael C. Gardner, 37, of Mountain Top, 12 months. Charged by Elkland police following a traffic stop in the borough Jan. 8.
Brian J. Kramer, 40, of 1674 North Road, Middlebury Center, 12 months. Charged by borough police following an accident in the Nittany Minit Mart parking lot on Tioga Street Jan. 17.
Ryan L. Eckman, 29, of 403 West James St., Lancaster, nine months. Charged by borough police following a traffic stop on Kelsey Street Jan. 29.
