Good Shepherd Church, 827 Good Shepherd Road in Montoursville, will hold a garage and bake sale from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Lunch will be available all day.

Home made days
HUGHESVILLE - Strawbridge-Kedron Methodist Church, 10 miles north of Hughesville along Route 220, will hold its annual Home Made Days from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. A bake sale and flea market will be available. Lunch will be served. Vendors still are being sought.

Pancake breakfast set
St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2233 Linn St., will hold its monthly all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, including two eggs to order, three pieces of bacon or sausage, juice and coffee or tea, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $4.50 for children under 12 and free for those under 6.

WATSONTOWN - The fourth annual Phil Printzenhoff Memorial Scholarship Waffle Breakfast will be held from 7-11 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 Main St. The event is sponsored by the youth group.
Free children's clothing
WATSONTOWN - Watsontown United Methodist Church, 1319 Eighth Street Drive, will hold a Joseph's Closet-free children's clothing giveaway from 8-11 a.m. New or like-new clothing that has been laundered and in excellent shape, ready to share with other families in the area, may be dropped off at the church one week before the give-away date. Block party scheduled
MILTON - The First Presbyterian of Milton, 47 Walnut St., will hold a block party from noon-3 p.m. featuring free hot dogs, hamburgers, snow-cones, fresh popped popcorn, assorted desserts and more. Games for the kids, entertainment will be held throughout the day.
Smorgasbord dinner
UNITYVILLE - St. John Lutheran Church, 68 Gordner Church Road, will hold an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord dinner from 4 p.m. until all are served. Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and children 5 and under free. St. John's is three miles west of Unityville on Moreland Baptist Road.

HUGHESVILLE - Huntersville United Methodist Church, 5263 Rabbittown Road, Muncy, will hold a gospel songfest at 7 p.m. featuring Redeemed, Steve and Donna Seabridge, Rebecca Smith, Carl and Opal Schlappi, Bobbi Grieco, and Karla and Lenny. Light refreshments will be served afterward.
Chiz Rider in concert
ALBA - The congregation of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Alba, Route 14, six miles south of Troy and three miles north of Canton, will hold its annual "Feel Good, Good Time" at 10 a.m. featuring Chiz Rider - one of America's foremost professional trumpeters. Food will be provided by the congregation.

Homecoming weekend
COGAN STATION - State Road United Methodist, Beautys Run Road, will hold its annual homecoming weekend. From 4-7 p.m. Saturday there will be a free pig roast with all the fixings. After the pig roast, the youth of the church will hold a movie night.

Special speaker
Robert Walter, a representative of Chosen People Ministries, will speaking at the Newberry Church of Christ, 822 Diamond St. in Newberry, during the 8 and 10:30 a.m. worship services. Walter will present the program titled Feast of Weeks - Pentecost; Birth of the Church, in exploration of the roots of the Christian faith.
