46 sentenced in Lycoming County courts

Judges in Lycoming County recently sentenced 46 people in county court.

Ten people were sentenced to state prison. They were:

Bilal I. Sabur, 31, Lycoming County Prison, 18 to 36 years for aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, conspiracy tampering with evidence, firearms not to be carried without a license.

Steven Thomas, 33, 815 Market St., 12 to 36 months for delivery of a controlled substance.

Derrick Jones, 48, Camden, N.J., 12 to 48 months, three months probation for possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance and criminal conspiracy.

Nafis Buie, 34, 833 Park Place, five to 10 years for possession with intent to deliver.

Daniel Keith Cassidy Jr., 52, Lycoming County Prison, 30 months to eight years for access device fraud.

Christopher E. Walters, 33, 904 Railway St., 42 months to seven years for aggravated indecent assault.

Delores Bryant, 44, 2004 Lincoln Drive, four to eight years for possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Randall L. Herb, 32, Lycoming County Prison, one to three years, 24 months probation for escape.

Tyrone A. Riley, 21, 1041 Memorial Ave., 22 months to five years for unlawful restraint and simple assault.

Lawrence L. Newman, 50, Lycoming County Prison, 13 to 30 years for statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.

Two people were sentenced to county prison. They were:

Karrieam J. Jenkins, 37, 681 Campbell St., six to 13 months, $150 fine for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief.

Michael A. Campbell, 25, 1101 W. Front St., South Williamsport, one to 11 1/2 months, 50 hours community service for indecent assault.

Twenty-one people were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They were:

James M. Brent, 28, 2839 Euclid Ave., DuBoistown, five years, $1,500 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Barb Howlett, 43, 616 Fifth Ave., 24 months for delivery of a controlled substance.

Dustin D. Keller, 30, Linden, 24 months for simple assault.

Dennis A. Schlegel, 45, 6 Hopple Drive, Jersey Shore, 36 months, $1,000 fine, 50 hours community service for terroristic threats.

Bradley O. Persun, 23, 1317 Park Ave., six months, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Jill L. Wilton, 34, 2500 Federal Ave., Apt. 271, six months, $1,000 fine for DUI.

Hilton Mayes, 51, 1151 N. Torbert Lane, Jersey Shore, five years, 90 to 180 days in the Lycoming County Prison, six months in the Pre-Release Center, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Joel Flick, 42, 913 Race St., six months, $750 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Aaron W. Lyon, 37, 2221 Lincoln Drive, six months, 72 hours in the Lycoming County Prison, $1,000 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Michael O. Goodrich, 32, 344 Stony Gap Road, Cogan Station, six months, 48 hours in the Lycoming County Prison, $500 fine and 50 hours community service for DUI.

Thomas R. Plank, 47, 73 Morse Drive, five years, nine months in the Lycoming County Prison, $1,500 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

James A. Sykora, 54, Pine City, N.Y., 12 months, three months in the Lycoming County Prison, five years probation for aggravated assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Donald L. Webb, 61, 349 Skylark Way, Apt. 1, South Williamsport, six months, 30 days in the Pre-Release Center, $750 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Candy M. Eck, 49, 821 First Ave., five years, 90 days in the Pre-Release Center, $1,500 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Leon Hall, 32, 77 Washington Blvd., six months, 33 days in the Pre-Release Center, $1,000 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Nathan Aaron Diefenderfer, 30, Lycoming County Prison, 48 months, nine months in the Pre-Release Center for theft by unlawful taking.

Jennifer Kay Michaels, 29, 36 months, six months in the Pre-Release Center, 250 hours community service for possession of drug paraphernalia, access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking.

Andrew M. Cajka, 27, 48 Hillcrest Lane, five years, 90 days in the Pre-Release Center, $1,500 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Chester W. Hall, 49, six months, three months in the Pre-Release Center, $1,000 fine, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Samuel J. Derr, 30, 1016 Henrietta St., five years and three months, 12 months in the Lycoming County Prison for DUI.

Eva M. Lattieri, 30, 1336 W. Southern Ave., South Williamsport, five years, 50 hours community service for DUI.

Six people were sentenced to probation. They were:

Lisa D. Hill, 44, 1402 Memorial Ave., 24 months, 50 hours community service for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeffrey W. Engleman, 53, Dewart, 12 months, 50 hours community service for simple assault.

Evan W. Yaple, 30, 1777 Andrews Place, 12 months, 50 hours community service for tampering.

Craig N. Wheaton, 32, Keystone Heights, Fla., 12 months for theft by unlawful taking.

Frances J. Black, 52, 262 Hughes Road, 42 months, 50 hours community service for harassment and unsworn falsification.

Charles P. Englebright, 21, 204 N. Main St., Muncy, 27 months for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief.

Six people were approved for Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition. They were:

Hank M. Flook, 23, 62 Church St., Jersey Shore, for DUI.

Carrie A. Spatzer, 34, 566 Grandview Drive, Linden, for DUI.

Ruth McKeon, 33, 78 N. Main St., Apt. 2, Hughesville, for DUI.

Zachary Perkins, 22, 733 Cherry St., for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Dennis L. McGill, 45, 286 E. Sylvan Ave., Avis, for DUI.

Keigan D. Guthrie, 26, 827 Upper Powys Road, for DUI.

One person was approved for probation without verdict. He was:

Jonathan C. Harris, 20, Selinsgrove, six months, 50 hours community service for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
