Nafis Shaheed Jones, 18, of 1014 Elmira St., was sentenced Thursday in Lycoming County Court to five to 10 years state prison on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and firearms violations.
According to state police, Jones sold heroin and a firearm with an altered serial number to an informant on Dec. 20, 2011.
Tyree M. Green, 20, of 643 Locust St., was also sentenced Thursday to two to four years on charges of robbery and resisting arrest.
Green and Dachaun A. Turner held up a woman about 4 a.m. in the 700 block of West Edwin Street last July 22. Green pulled out a pistol, put it in the victim's face and demanded money, according to police.
Green then put the gun to the victim's head and counted backwards until the victim pulled out a $100 bill and dropped her purse.
