At the RE/MAX International Convention in March 2012 in Las Vegas, John Brindger, commercial/industrial specialist with RE/MAX West Branch, Williamsport, was recognized for exceptional sales in 2011. At the annual convention, with more than 50 countries represented, Brindger received three awards: 2011 Platinum Award, Hall of Fame, and Number One Commercial Commissions in Pennsylvania for 2011.
John specializes in commercial/industrial real estate in the region including, but not limited to commercial and industrial land, warehouse sales and leasing, office and retail space.
Lawyer is 'solicitor
of the year'
Long-time Lycoming County Children and Youth solicitor Charles "Skip" Greevy III recently was honored at the annual meeting of the Pennsylvania Children and Youth Solicitor's Association held in State College. Greevy was selected by his peers as the recipient of the Brad M. Jackson Award of Excellence for 2012, recognizing him as an outstanding Children and Youth solicitor in the state.
Greevy has served as the agency's solicitor since 1976 and is the second longest serving children and youth solicitor in the state. During the course of his 36 years as solicitor Greevy has represented the agency at countless court proceedings involving allegations of child abuse, neglect, termination of parental rights and adoption. He has argued cases from common pleas court all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. He is often called upon to present workshops and training throughout the state and is a regular columnist to the Foster Focus magazine sharing his expertise and experience working in child welfare.
Greevy was presented with an engraved plaque along with a traveling plaque that will be displayed at the local agency until passed on to next year's selected recipient.
